7 Arrested Including School Principal for Initiating Mass Cheating in SEE Exam

Rautahat police have taken action against 7 individuals, including a school principal, for their involvement in facilitating mass cheating during the SEE (Secondary Education Examination).

They are accused of leaking question papers and circulating suggested answers through various social media platforms like WhatsApp and Messenger groups. Shockingly, some of them were even deployed as exam invigilators but ended up aiding in mass cheating instead.

Those arrested include Utchindra Yadav, principal of Shree MaVi Pathara; Lalan Ray Yadav of Shree Saraswati Mavi; Ram Amod Prasad Yadav; Abdhalal Ram of Sankar MaVi; and Rakesh Kumar Yadav. They have been charged under the Education Act 2028, Section 17, subsection 1A.

This incident sheds light on the concerning trend of school authorities themselves aiding students in using unfair means during the SEE examination.”
