Tribhuvan University Sets Exam on Chaitra 31 Despite Month Having Only 30 Days

Students at Tribhuvan University (TU) are expressing frustration and concern over what they perceive as a pattern of carelessness in the management of examinations and related procedures. Complaints have surfaced regarding delays in conducting exams, failure to publish results promptly, and mishandling of question papers.

Among the grievances highlighted by students are instances of receiving question papers intended for different subjects, encountering questions from past exams, and even cases where question papers were missing before the examination. These issues have caused widespread dissatisfaction among the student body.

In a recent incident, during the release of the exam schedule for the second year of Bachelor’s level programs, TU published a timetable containing dates that do not exist in the calendar. Notably, the university scheduled the BBS Micro Economics for Business exam for Chait 31st, despite there being no such date in the calendar year 2080.

The erroneous publication of the exam schedule has sparked outrage among students and has been met with criticism on social media platforms. Many students have taken to various online platforms to voice their concerns and demand accountability from university authorities.

This latest incident adds to a growing list of grievances against TU’s management of academic affairs. The university’s failure to ensure accuracy and reliability in exam scheduling and administration has raised questions about its commitment to maintaining academic standards and meeting the needs of its student body.

As protests mount on social media, students are calling for swift action from TU to rectify the errors and implement measures to prevent similar incidents in the future. The university administration faces mounting pressure to address the concerns raised by students and restore confidence in its ability to effectively manage academic affairs.
