Here’s Why You Saw This Helicopter Taking Lift on Truck Today in Kathmandu Street

A military helicopter hitched a ride through the city streets on Friday morning, surprising onlookers along the New Baneshwar-Babarmahal road.

The chopper, identified by the call sign NA-033, wasn’t actually flying. It was being transported from Tribhuvan International Airport to the Nepal Army headquarters in Bhadrakali as part of preparations for an upcoming military exhibition.

Despite the unusual sight, Nepal Army sources confirmed that NA-033 is currently grounded due to repairs and wouldn’t be taking to the skies anytime soon.

Regardless of its grounded status, the chopper’s journey through the city streets became a unique attraction, drawing the attention of residents and creating a buzz on the busy road.
