Poush 16: Pani Jahaj Ticket Day as Announced Previously by KP Oli, But Nowehere to Be Seen

Once upon a time, our former Prime Minister, KP Oli, made a promise that caught everyone’s attention. He announced that on the 16th day of the Poush, we could start booking tickets for something called a “pani jahaj” or water ship. This sparked excitement and suprise across the country, and people eagerly awaited the arrival of this unique mode of transport.

“We ourselves will buy ship and bring goods into the country within three days. Ships flying the Nepali flag will sail in the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. The day to book tickets for the ship is Poush 16,” he announced proudly.

However, as the years passed and political changes unfolded, the promised water ship never materialized, leaving many puzzled and turning the whole thing into a bit of a joke.

Even though KP Oli is no longer in power, the idea of pani jahaj remains a lighthearted topic of conversation. People playfully remind each other of the promised date and jokingly inquire about the status of the mythical water ship, turning it into a shared humorous experience. The unfulfilled promise has transformed into a meme, symbolizing the unpredictability of political commitments and adding a touch of amusement to discussions about the former prime minister’s announcement.

The laughter and banter surrounding this quirky promise continue, showcasing how a simple declaration can turn into a lasting source of amusement for the people of Nepal and we still have not forgot that KP Oli announced that Poush 16 will be the day to book our tickets for Pani Jahaj. Eagerly waiting Oli Baa!
