Girl Lodges Complaint Against Her Husband After He Does Not Brings Momo For Her

 In a bizarre case reported from our southern neighbour, a woman approached the cops against her husband. The cause however was not some domestic or physical abuse, but momos. Yes, that’s right. The woman was angry at her husband as he failed to feed her enough momos.

The story goes that the woman left her husband’s home after the man stopped bringing momos for her. The woman left for her parents’ home, and started to stay there. Soon the Family Counselling Centre authorities intervened.

In her complaint the wife said that she always wanted to have momos, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. But her husband was annoyed at this behaviour. One day the couple had an argument after the husband failed to bring her favourite momos. The angry wife then left for her parents home and also filed a complaint against her husband.

The matter reached the family court, after the woman threatened to divorce her husband ober the issue.

Financial issue in family, forgot to buy momos: Husband

The wife in her complaint said that she used to eat momos daily before marriage. But after she got married to the man 6 months back, she was not getting momos. So she filed a complaint and wanted a divorce.

The husband in his defence said that he works at a shoe factory and often returns home late. He is tired and therefore sometimes forgets to bring momos for his wife. The man also claimed that he and his family were facing a financial crisis.

The woman claims that she had informed her husband about her desire to eat momos everyday. Initially after marriage he used to even bring the dish for her, but as days passed he stopped bringing the delicacy for her. This led to frequent arguments between the couple. She left home after one such fight and had been living with her parents for the past 2 months.

The family court counselled the couple and both finally came to a settlement. The husband has promised to bring momos at least once or twice a week and the wife has agreed to be understanding and not demand the dish everyday.
